March into spring fever and natural light

Hi everyone. Ryder here. Welcome to all the new subscribers.

March is the traditional month when residents of the northern hemisphere are subject to "spring fever." With the accompanying increase in sexual appetite, the time of spring fever can be difficult. ;-)

March is also the month when I start trying to do more with natural light. The natural light galleries of Torrid Art are photographed indoors using light from windows. I feel that natural light is more erotic than light from flashes.

So face March and spring fever with courage, my friends, for Torrid Art is here to help you through these difficult times. :-)

New photo set - Shyla cornered
110 photos

Do you agree with me that Shyla looks fantastic no matter how big or small the setting that surrounds her?

This cozy corner location has very plain, white walls. But the couch has some very intricate, ornamental pillows. Depending on the camera angle, the background behind Shyla can be simple and white, or busy and colorful.

New photo set - Jana C more comfortable
91 photos

As Jana C slips into something more comfortable, she is lit with warm evening sunlight. This is a rare gallery that uses direct sunlight indoors. It is not all natural light, however. I used a strobe to add some "fill" light and reduce the contrast.

This is also a rare gallery for Torrid Art because it starts totally nude instead of fully dressed. It just might be the only one!

Torrid Art - Not the biggest, not the "best on the web"
Torrid Art is a hand-crafted website featuring the work of a single photographer. We are not big. We don't update every day. We don't have the "best on the web" of anything. We just have some really good, original stuff.
