Membership/Joining/Billing
How do I cancel my membership?
Cancellation is very easy.
Go to CCBill.com
to cancel.
If I cancel my membership, will my access to Torrid Art expire immediately?
No. You may cancel your membership at any time. Your membership remains active
until the end of the membership period. For example, if you joined with a 30-day recurring
membership, you can cancel your membership any time during the current 30-day
cycle (even
a few minutes after joining!), and you will have access to Torrid Art until
the end of the 30 day period.
How do I join?
On the Join page, choose a payment option, such as credit card,
and then choose a membership option, such as 30-day recurring.
Is joining secure?
Very secure. Joining is handled by CCBill.com, one of the oldest and most trusted
Internet credit card processors. See the next question.
What is CCBill?
TorridArt.com, and most adult websites, even the largest ones, do not process
credit cards or handle financial
transactions associated with joining the site. When you join TorridArt.com, your personal
information, including credit card number or other payment information,
is handled and processed by a third-party. We have
chosen CCBill.com as our payment processor. CCBill.com is one of the oldest, largest and most
trusted payment processors on the Internet, serving many thousands of websites and millions
of customers around the world.
If you have any questions about your membership, for example if you forgot your password, you will contact CCBill.com directly. They resolve problems rapidly 24/7/365.
I get an error when I try to join.
For your security, and the privacy of your financial transactions over the Internet,
our payment processor, CCBill.com, requires that your browser have 128-bit
encryption to join. Older browsers might have lower levels of encryption. Trying to
join with encryption levels below 128 bit will result in an error.
Please see your browser's help system for information on how to find the encryption level. The help system can also tell you how to upgrade you browser.
When does my membership expire?
You can lookup the status of your membership, including the expiration
date, at
CCBill Consumer Services.
Will you sell my email address to spammers?
NO! We have experienced this ourselves after joining adult websites, and we hate it!
TorridArt.com is very serious about this issue.
We wish there was a website that listed the adult sites that sold email addresses
to spammers, so people would know not to join those sites.
TorridArt.com will not give, sell or barter your email address to anyone under any circumstances.
Please review our Privacy Policy.
What personal information about me does TorridArt.com keep?
TorridArt.com does not keep any personal information about members.
Joining TorridArt.com is done through CCBill.com. CCBill.com handles all the
financial transactions between TorridArt.com and members.
What are the terms of membership?
Password sharing is forbidden. For all the other terms of membership,
see the Torrid Art Terms of Membership.
Logging in/out
How do I log in?
When you joined you created a username and were given a random password.
You need those to log in. After joining, an email was sent to the address
you provided. It contains both your username and password.
On any page, click "Login" at the top of the page. Enter your username and password.
How do I log out?
To log out, simply close all browser windows that are open. There is no "Log out"
button. Be sure to close ALL browser windows to ensure a complete log out.
When you are logged in, you will remain logged in as long as any browser
windows are open.
My username and password don't work.
If your browser is entering your username and password automatically, try
entering them manually.
The system is case sensitive. If you are entering the username and password manually and they still don't work, make sure you are entering them with the correct case (upper/lower case). This is a common problem with entering the password, because the characters and their case cannot be seen as you enter them.
Check your receipt and make sure you are entering your username and password correctly before reporting a non-working password.
Usernames and passwords are maintained by CCBill.com. If you are entering the username and password manually and correctly and they still don't work, contact CCBill.com.
The site accepts my username and password, but I am not logged in.

Member's Area
What happened to my favorites?
If you have some galleries in the favorites area of your home page,
and you find them missing one day when you log in, there are a
couple of things that can cause that. But don't dispair, your
favorites are not lost, only missing. The webmaster can recover
them for you!
If your membership expired and you rejoined using the same username, your favorites area will be blank.
To recover your missing favorites send an email to our webmaster - the email address in on your member's home page. Send it from the email address you listed when you joined. State your username and ask that your missing favorites be recovered.
Galleries
Why do some galleries only go up to 3000 pixels, others to 4000?
Galleries that only go up to 3000 pixels were made with a camera
that only had 3000 pixels as its maximum output.
Why do the models have different numbers of galleries?
There are as many reasons as models. Primarily, the models have different
numbers of galleries because there are different numbers of photo sessions
with different models.
Why are there two parts to many of the galleries?
An inherit feature of an "erotic" versus a "nude" website is the size of the
galleries. On TorridArt.com the models appear clothed, semi-clothed and nude,
so Ryder tends to shoot larger galleries than the "nude" sites. Because of
the size of the galleries, they are usually divided into parts. Dividing a
gallery into parts also helps with the size of the ZIP files.
Pictures
How do I view the pictures once they are extracted from the ZIP file?
If you double click on a picture file (they end with .jpg) it will open for
viewing.
Why are the pictures so big?
The pictures come in several different sizes. Download the size you want.
Why do all the pictures look the same size?
In general, programs used for viewing pictures, such as Windows
Photo Gallery, will "scale" large images so they fit into the viewer.
Even if a picture is very large, the viewer will reduce the size so that
it fits into the viewer window and you can see the entire picture.
What is Automatic Image Resizing and how do I turn it off?
Automatic Image Resizing (AIR) is a function in most modern Web browsers, and
it is usually active by default. AIR will reduce the size of an image so that
it fits in the browser window. AIR will not reduce the size of an image
in a web page. It will only affect an image when you click on a link that
goes directly to an image file.
See your browser's help system to learn how to disable AIR
What are the number of "pixels?" Why aren't the picture sizes in inches
or centimeters?
In an electronic image file, the pictures are composed of pixels, or dots.
The "number" that we, and almost all photography websites, use to represent the size of the picture,
for example 1200 pixels, is actually the number of pixels in the long
side of the picture. The pictures have dimensions in pixels.
For example 1200 x 800 pixels. The sizes
cannot be stated as inches or centimeters because the actual size of the picture, in
inches or cm, can be different on different monitors, for the same image.
For example, some monitors display 72 pixels per inch (ppi), some display 96 ppi, and others are different still. Additionally, if you print the images on paper, your printer might print at 150, 200, 300, or some other value of dots per inch (one pixel prints as one dot).
ZIP Files
How do I get the pictures from the ZIP file?
Galleries are downloaded as a single ZIP file. Just refer to your computer's
HELP system to find out how to extract the picture files.
